About me

I am a highly motivated, with a strong passion for technology, property, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. In year 1 of my college studies, I achieved a merit in my college course, I felt it important to maintain my commitment to my studies, and therefore also studied hard to gain the best outcome for myself on my course. I am currently still studying at Truro college working towards the extended part of the diploma. Alongside college, I am currently earning my PPL (Privates pilot license), which I am completing as a hobby light aircraft pilot.

Key skills

I am hardworking and committed to pursue a career in computer science, in my previous employer (St Austell Bay Plastics and Windows), I recognised the website and social media would benefit from improvement, I took the lead and offered to redesign the website which led to cost savings and increased lead generation. Whilst I am young, I feel I have good team leadership and customer service skills. In my current employment, recently I have been building an excel spreadsheet to input all the company data (such as spending, revenue ect) to carry out basic analysis on where the company can save money and a budget it must stick to, to remain profitable.

Hobbies and interests

Aswell as my aviation interest I have a keen interest in motorsport and in 2023 I participated in the Winter Stages of the MGC circuit rally championship, where I learn to be a rally co-driver, this was a great experience for me, I had to learn pace reading quickly in order to participate last minute, and required me to have the skill of being calm, focused and quick thinking, it was important for me to communicate instructions highly effectively and calmly to the driver. In my spare time I have helped in the family business including house renovations, my parents are also foster carers so it is important for me to support them where I can.
